In the article “I Read (?) The News Today, Oh Boy” by Karl Fisch, continues to explain how important technology has become to society supported by a video narrated by Terry McDonal, Sports Illustrated – Tablet Demo 1.5. First, writing is still important and is taking second to technology although writing is necessary for most of the technology used today since we mostly use things like Facebook, a communication website. In the video the tablet proves another instant where writing was required for the technology to be purposeful, the example the video took SI magazines “full” of “writings” to just make accessing specific articles easier for the user. Next, the schools teaching technology is important so that the students can keep up with their own generation because of the technological advancements that are being made. The tablet is just one of the many technological advancements that are being made, putting tons of magazines on a little hard drive for convenience. Last, all technology has entertainment incorporated into it to make everything more enjoyable. Clearly, technology has advancements that everyone will just have to adjust to.
